I think that the popular crowd current times are the kids who are considerate to other peoples' feelings. The kids who act like the popular girls in this movie are normally in trouble with the deans.
I think that teenage girls in actual high school and the girls from the movie defineteky share some similarities;however, I feel that the high school girls in real life aren't as cruel as the girls in movie.
I belive there are some similarites between real high school girls and the movies girls, such as there are cliches and some hostility between other girls but other than that they are pretty different in such respect that many of them do not go to such lengths as some of pranks that where in the movie or try and humiliate eachother like so.
